Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who enjoys speaking with clients, thrives in a team environment, and possesses a great sense of humor. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing clients with product and service information, helping with inquiries, questions and concerns, and generating friendly correspondence.

In this full time (40-50 hrs/week) position you will work closely with the team and you’ll need a pleasant phone demeanor. With your goal being to provide the best customer service experience and have a strong ability to function under pressure. Sales experience a major plus. (We are seasonal, so it can get nutty around here) Ideal applicant takes great pride in documenting and resolving client questions (through online chat, email and phone).

Some specific duties will include: Providing our customers with the best possible experience. Assisting them with deciding which products or services best suit their needs while working simultaneously on the phone and computer.

As a full-time customer service representative, compensation is hourly with added sales commission perks to celebrate and reward you for your wins. However, we use a relationship-based approach, not high-pressure selling or cold calling.

We’re looking for a Lawn and Landscape Super Hero. You will quickly respond to inbound requests and existing clients who ask about our lawn and landscape services, build relationships, and recommend the best solutions for landscape, hardscape, and other related needs. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commissions and bonuses.

You need to live near the Northern Virginia area. Our customers live in the regions around Fairfax Station, Virginia.

You will work on the road and here in our home office. Your day will begin here at headquarters assisting with inbound/ outbound calls. Your daily client visits will be planned using our company calendar which will transition you into the “field” navigating to clients properties in a company provided vehicle, to meet with clients on properties. The day will end in the office.

Needed skills Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, an interest in selling (in-person and over the phone) based on client requests, relationship building, some lawn, landscape and plant knowledge is a plus (but not a determining factor), a interest in gardening, love of process improvement, great communication skills (listening and speaking (English) so people understand you clearly and quickly), friendliness and positivity, superb follow-up, listening, attention to detail, great personal productivity, super comfortable with tech and computers. Question 4 – Describe something that you taught yourself recently. How?

Question 6 – Tell us about a time where your client had a unique after-sales problem and you helped them solve that problem.

Question 7 – What pieces of technology do you carry on a daily basis? (Example: what type of cell phone do you carry? Do you have a laptop you carry around? If so, what kind?)
