Clean-Up & Mulch

I'm so happy I choose MowCow. From the first call to the zoom meeting to the work everything went flawlessly. The front yard was cleaned up and new plants were planted. The team was very professional and friendly and got the work done fast. Our lawn looks great. I highly recommend them.

I had a fantastic experience working with MowCow. I'm so happy I choose them over the other companies in the area. We've used a couple others over the years and none provided the service that MowCow did. I had some ideas for what I wanted, but what MowCow presented was so much better. Their recommendations were great. They transformed our yard from an embarrasment to something we could be proud of.

Spring cleanup with edging/trimming/mulching was awesome. Their lawn fertilizer treatments have kept our grass thick and green with fewer weeds than most in our neighborhood. Biweekly garden maintenance plan cleans up sticks. Fall leaf removal rules.

We continue to use MowCow for late spring yard cleanup/sprucing up and mulching. We are also using them for leaf removal and they are great!

Great experience from the beginning. Heather the landscape designer listened and developed a plan. It incorporated our budget and plan for the area. Galindo and his crew tamed the jungle. They worked hard and efficiently.

I have a wooded lot for a backyard. They did a very thorough job for the budget that I had. Areas by fence lines were cleared of many years of growth. It is once more manageable for me.

The crew at MowCow are the best. It's one stop shopping for whatever you need for your lawn and yard. We use them for weekly service for mowing, plus lawn care. Over they years they've done gutter cleaning and landscaping for us too. I love the beautiful plants they installed in our front yard. I admire them everyday and get so many compliments from the neighbors. Their crews are reliabel and friendly and whenever I've had a question the customer service team has always been there to help. My neighbors asked about who we used but then they saw the cow trucks and they knew and switched too! MowCow is great! I recommend them to everyone. Their prices are fair for the level of service they provide. So much better than the national companies. So glad I found them!

Landscape

Heather was fantastic to work with! She helped design the front walk and flower beds that made our house look better than ever with plants that are easy to maintain. We can’t wait for spring and summer to see everything in bloom! Have already recommended her and Mow Cow to family and friends.

MowCow performed tree and shrub trimming at our house recently and did a fantastic job. The crew was professional and courteous. The work looks great and was done in the agreed upon method. I will definitely be using them again.

I signed up in the Spring for some yard services! We are TOTALLY pleased with all the services we really needed that this company could supply! I thought I would need to hire a couple companies to do several items for my yard but they took care of my excess fallen timber, cleaned the gutters, and restored the landscaping. Took time to answer all my questions and the team was on time with the requested jobs. I don't regularly use landscaping services, but I would highly recommend this company.

I attended a presentation by Cindy Smith and was very impressed with her knowledge and her ability to share information clearly. She spoke about how soil quality and temperature factor into what to plant where and when. It was fascinating and the group was 100% engaged.

LAwn Mowing

An excellent company that always does a great job. Our lawn is looking great. Haven't had any success with other lawn companies in the past. We are finally getting a green lawn.

This was the easiest experience I've ever had. I filled out a form online, put a deposit, and they came and cleaned up 1/2 acre of leaves without bothering me at all. I will absolutely use them again. Such a hassle-free experience! Service: Yard cleanup

So far, so good! The process of getting a quote was quick and easy, with friendly staff. I had one minor issue and their staff (Lauren, I think) was super helpful and responsive. Their CS and communication is great, and they definitely want to make things “right”. Not something you see very often nowadays, so that alone was a huge plus in my book. With the lawn service, the mowers do a great job. It’s done on time as scheduled, and the lawn is left looking nicely trimmed and clean. No mess left behind, just very tidy and neat. Would definitely recommend! 2021 update: Went with MowCow and, again, exceptional customer service and mowing. I worked specifically with Amy to obtain my quote and she was kind & super helpful! My lawn was mowed the same week and it looks great. No complaints here.

A HUGE thank you to the mowing crew that came out to the house yesterday. We recently purchased the home and yard maintenance had stopped many weeks ago. This was one overgrown yard! The crew came out and walked the yard picking up sticks, etc. that would catch in the mower. In order to get the grass to a respectable height it was necessary to mow in place several times over. Once mown, the edges were meticulously trimmed and the driveway and walks were thoroughly blown free of any clippings. The result is spectacular. We had no idea the yard could look this good! A big shout out to Rudy who was incredibly patient with me while listening to my scattered descriptions of what services we will be needing in the future. I just requested a quote for landscape planning/services and look forward to working with Heather. MowCow is the best of the best!

Lawn Care

I'm so amazing by what MowCow was able to do for our yard. They completely changed it. WE LOVE OUR YARD! The creativity and execution has been outstanding. From day one they treated us with professionalism. Every detail was covered. We are totally satisfied.

Mow Cow continues to do great work. They started on our backyard a little less than a year ago and have transformed it. We got environmentally safe treatments and a lawn that requires little care beyond mowing. The before picture was taken on April 20, 2019 and the after picture on April 16, 2020.

After years of trying to keep our lawn up ourselves with OTC junk from Home Depot & Lowes, we finally gave up and decided to give a professional company a shot again. The results couldn't have been better. We know he have a "problem lawn" and our soil isn't great. MowCow checked out soil and found what the issues were. None of those national chains ever did that for us. We were told it would take time to get the results we wanted, but after only a single season our lawn was looking better than it ever had ever after years with those other companies. Can't wait to see how much greener and fuller our lawn gets from here.

Nothing but good things to say about this service. They would take time to share there expertise and advice on how to get the most out of my lawn (which has always been difficult). I also appreciated the more natural approach to a healthy yard.

Leaf Removal

We've had leaf removal and mowing services with MowCow so far and am VERY pleased with the service. As a new homeowner with ZERO lawn care knowledge, I was so relieved to have someone go over all the processes and details with me so I knew exactly what I needed. The customer service is on point and it's so appreciated!

New to the NoVa area so I was not expecting the amount a leaves we had in our yard! On my daily walks through the neighborhood I was sad to see the amount of plastic bags wasted bagging leaves. I thought there had to be a better way! Needless to say I was thrilled when I found MowCow's leaf vacuum service! EXTREMELY well priced! Will definitely be a customer again next fall!

First: very glad they canceled leaf blowing to a less windy day. Second:Team checked with me about area to not be included in leaf pickup. Third: impressed with work being done in a timely manner Fourth: vacuum truck got the stuff picked up quickly and completely. Fifth: Quality, responsiveness , and value. Kept me in the loop when weather adversely affect safety for workers. 👍.

I made an appointment over a month ago and they came as agreed. The job was completed to our satisfaction. The leaves in both front & back yards were cleared of leaves and th leaves were removed from the property. The cost was reasonable compared to the time it would have taken me to clear the yards myself. This is the third year in a row I've used their services.

As in every year, I had Mow Cow do leaf cleanup on my property. They come 3x for me, usually 2-3 weeks between cleanups depending on leaf fall. They are always punctual and the guys do a great job clearing up leafs. They are efficient and work hard. What would take me 4-5 hours to do (each cleanup), their 2-man crew does in less than 2 hours. Plus, having the "Leafinator" truck come and suck up all the leaves is much better/easier than bagging up what can be 8-10 large bags of leaves.

Aeration & Seeding

Did a great job with the aeration and seeding. Professional and friendly team that made sure the yard was cleared of leaves before aerating the lawn. A pleasant bonus.

I have paid several other companies for aerating and overseeding and it has never worked before - Mow Cow's service has left us with tons of new growth and our yard looks better than ever before. Mow Cow has been great to work with. They have transformed the yard and helping us recover from years of neglect. The owner even came out to talk to us about teouble spots and the overall strategic plan for the yard.

My lawn was mostly weeds and dirt. A neighbor recommended mowcow services so I gave it a try and I am pleasantly surprised! I first signed up for the weed control and after a few treatments all weeds were gone. The problem was that most of my lawn was weeds, so now I'm stuck with tiny patches of grass. Then I signed up for their aeration and seeding service. After about 3 weeks or so I had nearly a full lawn again! With the exception of a few spots its was back better than before. The bonus was that they left me an extra bag of seeds just in case there were some extra spots. Now I have a full lawn again and much much faster than I expected! I am definitely using them again!!
